An integrated continuous flow reactor (10), with two or more liquid feeds, reduces fouling of the reactor wall (16) and catalyst (20) with degradation products of an e.g. thermally sensitive liquid (2) by injecting this axially into a laminar flow of a second, more stable, liquid (1), so that in the feed region the susceptible component is protectively surrounded by the second liquid. Independent claims are included for the production of a vapor mixture from a feed of at least two liquid components, where one of the component species is temperature degradable and prone to cause fouling of reactor surfaces; and the use of the reactor with heterogeneous catalysts for steam reforming/oxidation of hydrocarbon mixtures.
