The fixed vertical frame member (2) for a door panel (30) in a building consists of a metal profile. It has a row of square openings one above the other on one or both sides. Some of the openings accommodate door locking components (6), including a keypad for inputting a security number, a cylinder lock and a pushbutton release. A cover strip (9) on either side blanks off the openings not in use and has holes lined up with the apertures containing locking components.
