A screw for connecting plastic components (1) comprises a cylindrical hole wall surface (4), a screw dome (3), and a contact surface. The hollow cylindrical wall surface has at least two hole wall surface regions (5). The latter are spaced apart and at least one penetrating hole (12) is located in a wall section (2) which has corrugations and/or folds. The length of the wall surface is at least twice the outer diameter of the screw. The hole is formed using a drilling or milling technique.
