An acoustic cavity stop comprises a first part (11) defining a holder for holding an acoustic grade material, the holder having a securing bracket (15) which is adapted, in use, to be secured to the outer face of the cavity wall, and a second part (12) extending from the upper edge of the holder part (11) to define a drainage tray. The holder part (11) is of L-shaped section and has a plurality of prongs or spikes on the inside face of the vertical limb which, in use, pierce the insulation material to secure same to the holder. |
