The high heat conductivity member (116) is arranged between the laser beam generator (118) and the lens (123) and the cooler (115). The high heat conductivity member (116) has higher heat conductivity than that of the case (101). The high heat conductivity member (116) conveys the heat generated in the laser beam generator (118) to the cooler (115). An optical receiver has a case (201). The case (201) houses a light receiver (207), an amplifying unit (206) that amplifies the electrical signal and a support member (217) that supports the light receiver (207) and the amplifying unit (206).
