The clamps (11, 13) are joined by an adjuster (15). One clamp (11) moves quickly along it (15) to alter the spacing between them (11, 13), and slowly for adjustment when clamping. It can be changed over between the clamping position which blocks rapid change of spacing, and an adjustment position permitting it.
