<p>Froster for cooling food products has a conveyor belt (10) which transports the product through a zone with an atmosphere of deep-cooled gas. A section (2) of the belt passes through liquid gas and fans (6) are mounted under the remaining section. Sprays (1, 3, 4) of liquid gas are mounted above the belt. An independent claim is included for a method for cooling food products using the froster.</p> |
