A DEVICE AND A OPERATING METHOD OF PRE-DISTORTER WITH COMPENSATION FOR POWER AMPLIFIER

PURPOSE: A pre-distortion compensation unit of a power amplifier is provided to compensate distortion due to a non-linear characteristic by recognizing correctly the non-linear characteristic of a transmission system of a mobile communication base station. CONSTITUTION: A linearization controller(200) receives an output signal of a power amplifier and outputs a compensation coefficient for pre-distortion. A compensation table(130) stores a compensation coefficient of the linearization controller(200). An instantaneous voltage measurement unit(140) measure an instantaneous voltage of an output signal of the power amplifier. A pre-distortion unit(110) receives the compensation coefficient of the compensation table and performs a pre-distortion process for the input signal of the power amplifier. An equalizer(120) is used for receiving the compensation coefficient of the compensation table and compensating a frequency distortion characteristic for an output signal of the pre-distortion unit.
