Resin modified elastomers, methods of making them and their uses. The method for making the elastomers comprises reacting in a diluent an ≡SiH functional siloxane; a diene, diyne or ene-yne compound, a resin having the formula (R<SUP>1</SUP><SUB>3</SUB>SiO<SUB>1/2</SUB>)<SUB>x</SUB>(SiO<SUB>4/2</SUB>)<SUB>y</SUB>(R<SUP>1</SUP>SiO<SUB>3/2</SUB>)<SUB>z </SUB>where each R<SUP>1 </SUP>is independently a monovalent hydrocarbon group having 1 to 30 carbon atoms or an unsaturated hydrocarbon group having 2 to 30 carbon atoms x is >=1, y>=0, z>=0 and y+z>=1.
