<p>The spotlight (1) made from polymere material features an improvement of thermal conditions inside it so that despite continuous use an overheating of the wall (10) from polymere material in the hottest zone in the upper part (11) above the bulb (3), along with the occurrence of unfavourable effects due to the presence of a considerably colder zone in the lower area (12) beneath the bulb (11) would be prevented. According to the invention the thickness (D1) of the wall (10) from thermally insulating polymere material in the upper part (11) of the spotlight (1), which is located above the integrated bulb (4) installation area (100) is smaller that the thickness (D2) of the wall (10) in the lower area (12), which is located beneath the integrated bulb (4) installation area (100). As a further optional measure there is an opening (22) in the upper part of the supporting rim (2), which is at the maximum distance from this area. Another measure in the direction of increasing the thermal drain from the spotlight area (1) by way of thermal emission is achieved by selecting the adequate roughness (delta) of the external shell (3) surface (14) at least in the upper area (11) above the equatorial plain.</p> |
