The present invention relates to a D-tartrate of (-) cis-6(S)-phenyl-5(R)-[4-(2-pyrrolidine-1-yl-ethoxy)phenyl]-5,6,7,8-tetrahydronaphtalene-2-ol, to a pharmaceutical composition and to the process for preparing the same, and to its use in medicine. According to the invention, the compound is a valuable agonist of the estrogens, being useful in treating and preventing some diseases mediated by estrogens.
