A hetero-nuclear hydroxide (mixed) or iron (III)-chrome (III) is obtained as simple hydroxides of these metallic ions and of their aqua-hydroxi complexes as catalysers in peroxidative oxidation processes of cyclo-hexane or of cyclo-pentane to alcohols or corresponding ketones (cyclo-hexanol and cyclo-hexanone, or cyclo-pentanol and cyclo-pentanone respectively), in accordance with general reactions (I) and (II) in mild conditions (temperature, ambiance) and with good performances.
