PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of manufacturing a display apparatus for displaying a picture excellently by insulating short-circuiting portions of an anode and a cathode. SOLUTION: In a method of manufacturing a display apparatus according to the present invention, short-circuiting portions of an anode and a cathode are insulated by applying opposite voltages to a luminous device containing electroluminescent material between the anode and the cathode.
