PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To warn an operator that pressure in an air tank becomes not higher than regulated pressure set by a pressure reducing valve, in a portable compressor used for a power source of a pneumatic tool. SOLUTION: A control part 7 detects the pressure in the air tank 3 through a pressure sensor 6. The control part 7 can set a control action pressure P3 the same as the regulated pressure set by the pressure reducing valve 4, and a sound emitting part 9 of the control part 7 emits warning sound when the pressure of the air tank 3 becomes not higher than the set control action pressure P3.
