PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To standardize and constitute an assembly (a wall surface block module for constructing a retaining wall), using a rod-shaped unit member capable of being mass-produced as an existing member, as a section unit of a wall surface, and to improve workability and operability, including a connecting structure of them. SOLUTION: In this wall surface block module M for constructing the retaining wall, two first rod-shaped unit members 1 and two second rod-shaped unit members 2 are used and arranged in the state of being stacked in such a manner that the longitudinal direction of them serves as a horizontal direction; the unit members 1 are arranged on upper and lower steps; the unit members 2 are arranged on a middle step in the state of being separately arranged right and left hands; respective end surfaces are aligned so that a wall surface block element 5 can be formed as a surface body; one end of a third rod-shaped unit member 3 is inserted into a hollow part 51 which is formed in the center of a surface, so that a rod end can face a free space on the front side of the block element 5; the unit member 2 or a fourth rod-shaped unit member 4 are arranged in a crossed manner at the other end which recedes to the backside of the element 5 so as to serve as a brace element 6; and the respective adjacent rod-shaped unit members are connected together in a stacked direction and integrated.
