PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To eliminate a release defect at the time of thick lap coating in a dimensionally stabilizing method of wood for coating the surface of wood with a resin mixed with a water absorbable resin water retaining agent. SOLUTION: In dimensionally stabilizing method of wood, a resin is applied to the surface of wood while a layer of ceramic particles is formed to the surface thereof and the ceramic layer is coated with a resin.
