PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a roll-forming method and a device for it by which the production of many kinds in small quantities of materials having channel section is applied by roll sharing, obtained products are excellent in shape accuracy and dimensional accuracy and excellent products having small residual strain are manufactured even when they are products having various dimensions especially when they are thick products. SOLUTION: The material having the channel section which is excellent in the shape accuracy of the product is provided because the sharing of forming rolls is realized by the simple mechanical mechanism by forming the two corner parts in the cross section of the product in separate stages respectively independently and the strain history to the products is equalized by performing roll-forming of the other corner after making the pass line of a corner part formed previously constant.
