PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a washing machine that has improved reliability and durability, and washes clothing by circulating a washing liquid by means of a simple and inexpensive structure. SOLUTION: A washing liquid supply means 45 is composed of a washing liquid chamber 42 formed of a washing and spin-drying tub bottom 34a and an outer tub lower portion 33b in which the washing and spin-drying tub bottom 34a is stored, an inlet 43a provided in the washing liquid chamber 42, and a circulating route 43 formed of a circulating route 43b connecting the inlet 43a and an outlet 43c provided in the opening 33a in an outer tub upper portion, and makes the washing liquid in the washing liquid chamber 42 flow through the circulating route 43 by the rotation of the washing and spin-drying tub 34. The washing liquid is circulated upward from the bottom of an outer tub 33 by the rotation of the washing and spin-drying tub 34. Because no pump is used, reliability and durability are enhanced.
