The invention relates to a cement roofing tile consisting of two layers. The internal layer is embodied in the form of a basic plate or a blank cement tile, the external layer being a coating containing at least one type of sand and binder. The sand of the coating has different grain-sizes. The maximum diameter of the largest grains is equal to the coating thickness, whereas the minimum diameter of the smallest grains is equal to one third thereof.
