The invention relates to a stacking machine for folded cardboard boxes or sheets. The inventive machine is used to stack a certain number of folded boxes or sheets in order to form bundles. Said machine comprises an inlet area (3), a first stacking area (4) and a second stacking area (5). The aforementioned inlet area (3) comprises a tilting table (6) which, depending on the position thereof, enables the folded boxes (2) to move towards the lower part of the first stacking area (4) where a first half bundle (20) of folded boxes is formed or towards the second stacking area (5) where a second half bundle (20') of boxes is formed. Said second half bundle (20') is disposed on top of the first half bundle (20) in order to form a full bundle (20'') of boxes which is conveyed out of the machine.
