<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method and device for discharging unnecessary water of a water heater, capable of simplifying facilities by omitting a neutralization device and a draining pipe. <P>SOLUTION: In this method for discharging unnecessary water, unnecessary water (drain water 16) is collected in a drain tank 60 through a drain circuit 52 for guiding it, and hydraulic pressure is worked to the drain tank from a water injection circuit (hot water supplying circuit 18, a hot water injecting circuit 40) to discharge the unnecessary water in the drain tank from a circulating circuit (a reheating circuit 38) on a bathtub 8 side to the bathtub by this hydraulic pressure. The device for discharging unnecessary water comprises the drain circuit 52 for guiding unnecessary water (drain water 16), the drain tank 60 set in the drain circuit to collect the unnecessary water, the circulating circuit (the reheating circuit 38) for circulating the bathtub water in the bathtub to a heat exchanger, the water injection circuit (the hot water supplying circuit 18 and the hot water injection circuit 40) connected to the circulating circuit to inject water to the bathtub, in which the hydraulic pressure from the water injection circuit is worked on the drain tank to discharge the unnecessary water in the drain tank from the circulating circuit to the bathtub side. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
