<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a transfer apparatus advantageous for stably supporting a disabled care-receiver, especially a care-receiver who cannot sufficiently keep the sitting posture. <P>SOLUTION: The transfer apparatus comprises a carriage 1, an erected part 2 erected on the carriage 1, an arm member 3 held in the erected part 2, a support seat 4 with a first lock part 47 and a second lock part 48 for seating the care-receiver 100, a first hook 5 located at the center in the cross direction of the carriage 1 and a second hook 6 located outside the first hook 5 in the cross direction of the carriage 1.
