PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an origin adjusting device low in cost, high in accuracy and taking extremely little time in origin adjustment between two relatively rotating members at a joint of an industrial robot, and to provide the origin adjusting device compact, easily usable at a wrist tip shaft of the robot and dispensing with a special signal line for origin adjustment. SOLUTION: This industrial robot is provided with a guide part 24 wherein a mounting part 23 and a positioning member 22 embedded in one or both of two relatively rotating members, slide in a projectable manner.
