PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To confirm the existence of faults such as floating, eccentricity, and deformation because the receptacle fitting part 5 of a shell 4 is housed in a prescribed position at a crimping process in assembling a connector for a coaxial cable. SOLUTION: A through-hole (confirmation window) 10 for confirming the state of a shell 4 on the other side is formed at a shell 4 on one side of a folded part 7b on a side where a crimping flange 5 is installed. In addition, a projection 9 is formed at the shell 4 on one side of the folded part 7b on a side where the receptacle fitting part 5 is installed so that the projection 9 and the through-hole 10 are fitted when the shell 4 is bent to a caulking state. In addition, the through-hole 10 is formed at a crimping flange 8 and the projection 9 is formed at a cable guide part 6. In addition, respective projections 9 are formed on the tip side of a pair of the right and left cable guide parts 6, and the two through-holes 10 are formed to be arranged in a row on the right and left of the crimping flange 8 corresponding to the respective projections 9.
