PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a radio wave absorbent which is capable of effectively absorbing radio waves originating from an electric component and superior in absorption efficiency, to provide an electronic component using the same, and to provide a method of manufacturing the radio wave absorbent. SOLUTION: The radio wave absorbent 12 is composed of a flat plate 12a which is formed of sheet-like material containing magnetic material and an inorganic filler, such as dielectric material and the like, and covers the surface 11a of the electronic component 11 and peripheral walls 12b which are formed of the same material with the flat plate 12a and cover the sides 11b of the electric component 11. The flat plate 12a and the peripheral parts 12b are three-dimensionally assembled together into the radio wave absorbent 12 of three-dimensional structure.
