PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an insertion method and an insertion device of a terminal with an electric wire wherein it can be inserted into a connector housing surely, simply and easily, and furthermore wherein cost of the manufactured connector can be reduced. SOLUTION: In the insertion method of the terminal 1 with the electric wire in which the electric wire 2 is pushed toward the connector housing 5 by the final insertion jig 15 after the tip part of the terminal 1 with the electric wire electrically connected to the end part of the electric wire 2 is temporarily inserted into the connector housing 5 by a temporary insertion jig 13 and in which the temporarily inserted terminal 1 with the electric wire is finally inserted into the connector housing 5, an endless track type push-in machine having a plurality of endless belts 27 to pinch the electric wire 2 is used as the final insertion jig 15, the electric wire 2 is pushed toward the connector housing 5 by this, and the temporarily inserted terminal 1 with the electric wire is finally inserted into the connector housing 5.
