摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent occurrence of meltdown of an aluminum wire and resistance increase thereof due to environmental change by making a uniform current flow through each stranded wire of the aluminum wire when a terminal is crimped to the aluminum wire. SOLUTION: When the terminal 10 is crimped to the aluminum wire 40 comprising multiple stranded wires 41 and a cover part 42 for covering them, a part at an wire end from which the cover part is removed is provided with a first conductor part 41a adjacent to the cover part and having a large diameter and a certain length, and a second conductor part 41b adjacent to it, formed by removing stranded wires positioned on the circumferential surface of the first conductor part, and having a small diameter and a certain length; the terminal 20 is provided with an insulation barrel 25, a first wire barrel 21a and a second wire barrel 21b lower than it; the first wire barrel is crimped to the respective stranded wires positioned in the circumference of the first conductor part so as to contact them; and the second wire barrel is crimped to the respective stranded wires constituting the second conductor part so as to contact them.
