PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a reflection type screen on which an image with high luminance and high contrast is obtained, and to provide its manufacturing method. SOLUTION: On a base 11, a 1st optical film having a high refractive index and a 2nd optical film having a lower refractive index than it are laminated by turns to form an optical multi-layered film 12 which comprises 2n+1 (n: an integer of≥1) layers and has a high reflection characteristic to light in a specified wavelength range and a high transmission characteristic to light at least in the visible wavelength range other than the specified wavelength range; and a plurality of transparent spheres 141 are arrayed in one layer on the optical multi-layered film 12 across an adhesion layer 13, and the transparent spheres 14 are partially exposed in the adhesion layer 13 and fixed to form a bead layer 14.
