PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a coat cap for a conductive roller capable of uniformly electrifying even in the case of outputting a high definition image such as a half tone image of 600 dpi by a DC electrifying method, to provide a conductive roller coating method, an electrifying roller using the conductive roller, a process cartridge and an electrophotographic device. SOLUTION: Regarding the conductive roller having a core bar, an elastic base layer formed on the core bar and a surface layer formed on the elastic base layer, in the case of attaching the coat cap to the end part of a coat substrate where the base layer is formed on the core bar and immersing and coating the surface layer, the coat cap of the conductive roller is characterized in terms of the cap shape where three of the elastic base layer, the core bar and the coat cap do not simultaneously come in contact with one another in one or more points in the cavity, and coating method, elecrifying roller, process cartidge and electrophotographic device.
