摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain the sealing performance without enlarging the structure of an injector. SOLUTION: In a fuel injection control method of a fuel cylinder injection CNG engine, which is provided with a CNG fuel cylinder, the injector for fuel cylinder injection, a regulator to reduce fuel pressure down to a predetermined injection pressure, and a fuel injection pressure detecting means to detect the fuel injection pressure, stratified lean combustion and homogeneous combustion are changeably formed corresponding to the engine operation condition. When the fuel injection pressure at the moment is lower than a target combustion pressure (step S10), a warning to that effect is generated to a driver, and combustion is controlled in the case of a few fuel residue (step S12, S13). When a differential pressure between the maximum combustion pressure grasped based on the engine operation and the fuel injection pressure at the moment becomes not greater than the limited injection pressure (step S14 affirmative), the warning is generated to the driver to change over the control to lower the combustion pressure into the target combustion pressure for protecting the injector (step S15, S16).
