PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent the engaged part (the tip) of an operating lever knob from being easily broken by the force of a bar trying to force it open, by the addition of a locking bar (a rod type) to the tip thereof. SOLUTION: This lock device used for the opening/closing body is provided with a lever-like locking bar provided at the tip of an operation lever knob pivotally mounted on the installation base plate for locking members, in the way that the lever-like locking bar can operate together with the rotation of the operation lever knob. This locking bar is vertically guided by a guide provided at a support arm extending to the free end of the opening/closing body from the position of the base plate installed in the direction perpendicular thereto. When the opening/closing body is closed, the locking bar moves vertically to engage with or disengage from the engagement lock of the lock receiving plate. COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI
