PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an opening/closing device which is excellent in crime prevention and for which existing members can be used as they are. SOLUTION: The opening/closing device 1 of which the sectional shape has a recessed slat 14 toward the indoor space side and is provided with a risable opening/closing body 3 patitioning the indoor space and the outdoor space. The opening/closing device 1 is provided with an engaging body 27 having an engaging protrusion 26 having a protruded shape to the indoor space side. The engaging body 27 is movable in between a regulating position where the protrusion 26 positions in the inside of the slat 14 and regulates the upward motion of the opening/closing body 3 by the engagement with the slat 14 and an allowing position where the engaging protrusion 26 does not position in the inside of the slat 14 and allows the upward motion of the opening/closing body 3.
