PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a member useful for constituting furniture and a building member having humidity conditioning/deodorizing capacity capable of bringing about an optimal environment and dwelling space for living. SOLUTION: This plate-like member of interposing a humidity conditioner/ deodorant in a plate-like body, is used as a constituent member for furniture and a building. In the plate-like member, a recessed space and a plurality of slits or opening holes communicating with the recessed space, are formed in at least one plate member on the superposing surface side of at least stuck upper and lower two plate materials, and the humidity conditioner/deodorant is loaded in the recessed space.
