PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an exciter for a support, which is used for easily pulling out or driving various types of supports such as a support for a guardrail. SOLUTION: This exciter for the support is used for facilitating the pulling-out and driving of the support 20 by applying vibrations to the support 20, when the support 20 such as the support for the guardrail, which is erected on ground, is pulled out or driven. An assembly 7, which is assembled to a head part of the support 20, is provided at the lower end of a vibrator 4 which is provided with: a main driving gear 5 wherein a first gear body 5a is provided with a first eccentric weight 5b, and which is rotated via a belt 3 by power of a motor 2; and a driven gear 6 wherein a second gear body 6a is provided with a second eccentric weight 6b, and which is rotated by meshing with the main driving gear 5.
