摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lightweight titanium alloy low in a Young's modulus, easily subjected to cold working, and suitable for a spectacles frame or the like, and to provide a method of producing the same. SOLUTION: The low Young's modulusβtype titanium alloy comprises, by atom, 13 to 28% Nb and 0.1 to 10% Sn, and the balance Ti with impurities. Alternatively, the low Young's modulusβtype titanium alloy comprises, in addition to the components, each 0.1 to 5% of one or more kinds of metals selected from V, Mo, W, Zr and Al, and the balance Ti with impurities.
