[Also in Division G2] Copies are produced either (i) by coating an original with a heat-sensitive layer of a super. coolable material and heating in contact with a receptor sheet so that the layer melts imagewise to form a supercooled liquid melt and the liquid latent image is transferred which may be developed by a powder developer or (ii) by contacting an original with a heat-sensitive layer and heating so that a liquid latent image is transferred on to the original and the original is then contacted with a receptor sheet and heated as above.
