PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a game machine island base which can lower noises to a level that keeps a player from feeling discomfort as generated above or below a ball hoisting device. SOLUTION: The Pachinko game machine island base has the ball hoisting device for hoisting Pachinko balls and an upper tank 22 into which the Pachinko balls hoisted by the ball hoisting device are flowed to be stored. A sound shielding member 60 whose inside is made up of a honeycomb structure 61 is provided on the upper tank 22 with a clearance at a prescribed interval from an outer surface part (wood 22a) thereof. As a result, the noises generated above the ball hoisting device can be lowered to a level at which nobody (player) feels discomfort when reaching an area (hearing area) normally where the most thereof are caught accidently by auditory sense. Furthermore, this can minimize the overall weight of the upper tank 22 itself and also enables a sound shielding member 60 to deliver the features of the intrinsic sound shielding effect sufficiently.
