PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a humidifier capable of obtaining a relatively large amount of a gaseous mixture without accelerating the atomization of liquid more than needed in the case of small amount atomization and also obtaining the gaseous mixture containing only fine mist. SOLUTION: This humidifier is provided with a guide member 27 for the small amount atomization having a hollow structure arranged in an internal space 26 for mixing where the mist obtained by atomizing the liquid is atomized is mixed with a gas. On the lower part and upper part of the guide member 27 for the small amount atomization, first and second openings 35 and 39 for gas introduction are provided. Also, the guide member 27 for the small amount atomization is provided with a cover part 31a roughly in an inverted cup shape on the lower side and a guide cylinder part 31b on the upper side. Further, the guide cylinder part 31b is provided with a projecting cylinder part 40 projecting into the inside of the cover part 31a. Also, the lower end part of the projecting cylinder part 40 is closed by a closing part 36, and an opening 37 for gaseous mixture introduction is provided on the circumferential side face of the projecting cylinder part 40.
