<p>This invention provides a corrosion preventing agent for a metal for use in molding a resin, a resin composition capable of preventing metal corrosion which contains the corrosion preventing agent, and a method for preventing the corrosion of a mold for molding a resin which uses the resin composition. More specifically, use is made of a pellet which comprises an aminoalkoxysilane in an amount of 0.2 to 2.0 parts by weight relative to 100 parts by weight of a polyphenylene sulfide, and optionally a zinc compound, such as zinc oxide, in an amount of 4 parts by weight or less relative to 1 part by weight of the aminoalkoxysilane compound. The method can be suitably employed for preventing the corrosion of a metal for use in molding a resin, such as a mold, a molding machine or a metal for use in insert molding.</p> |
