<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide electronic equipment which can simply and effectively cool a heat resource composed of a heat generating component for generating heat in an operation, and a power source substrate for supplying electric power to the heat resource, without separately providing a cooling fan or increasing the capacity of an existing cooling fan, and an image forming apparatus. <P>SOLUTION: This image forming apparatus is equipped with a thermal head 2 which is mounted on a support 22 with a heat radiating function, a power source substrate 5 which is arranged in a housing 11 and which supplies electric power to the thermal head 2, and a cooling fan 7 which takes in outside air so as to cool the thermal head 2 and the power source substrate 5; and a pair of radiator plates 8 for guiding cooling air from the cooling fan 7 toward the thermal head 2 is built on a substrate 51 of the power source substrate 5 near the cooling fan 7, which is provided on the side wall of the housing 11, in such a manner as to be separated from the thermal head 2 in the state of facing each other. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
