<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To simplify a mounting structure of a light source for illuminating light to a light guide plate. <P>SOLUTION: An induction heating cooker comprises a body 1 for forming an enclosure, a top plate 2 provided on a top surface of the body 1, and for placing a heated cooking apparatus, an induction heating coil 5 provided underneath the top plate 2, a power circuit 8 for supplying high frequency power to the induction heating coil 5, a light source 17 arranged underneath the top plate 2, a light guide body 7 for guiding light from the light source 17 and radiating light towards the top plate 2, and a control circuit substrate 11 having a circuit for receiving a signal from an operation part 4 to control the apparatus.
