PULVERIZATION STIRRING IN HORIZONTAL CYLINDER TYPE ROTARY STIRRER

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a horizontal cylinder type rotary stirrer capable of pulverizing a lump of garbage or livestock excreta to reduce the large quantity of the garbage or the livestock excreta by the decomposition/fermentation by microorganisms and easily vaporizing water and having high fermentation decomposition rate. SOLUTION: The stirrer is structured by providing a sub-stirring vane 4 for pulverizing the lumped garbage or livestock excreta 1 in addition to a conventional main stirring vane 2 of the horizontal cylinder type rotary stirrer for stirring microorganism and the garbage or the live stock excreta. The sub-stirring vane 4 is mounted at a position where the lumped garbage or livestock excreta lifted by the main stirring vane 2 falls down and rotated at a high speed to pulverize the lumped garbage or live stock excreta. The decomposition rate of the garbage or the livestock excreta is accelerated by pulverizing the garbage or live stock excreta to enlarge the surface area on which microorganisms are held. Further, the water produced during the process of the decomposition is easily vaporized to prevent the wetting of a bacterial bed and the deterioration of the action of the microorganisms.
