PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To avoid uselessness of replacing the entire stable liquid containing deteriorated muddy water with a good liquid so as to treat secondary slime and to minimize the amount of muddy water wasted. SOLUTION: The method for slime treatment useful in a muddy water engineering method comprises a step 101 for digging a digging channel 52 by the same muddy water circulation method as a conventional one, then a step 102 of primary slime treatment, after completing the digging, for removing slime settled and deposited on the hole bottom of the digging channel 52, a step 103 of standing process for raising a horizontal multiaxial excavator 53, allowing it stand in the digging channel 52 and waiting until a slime source in the stable liquid filled in a digging hole is settled and then a step 104 of secondary slime treatment process for lifting only a part of the stable liquid existing in the vicinity of the hole bottom of the digging channel 52 in the stable liquid together with the slime settled and deposited on the hole bottom as the stable liquid containing the slime source.
