PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pressure sensor for detecting a pressure level of a pressure medium. SOLUTION: The pressure sensor comprises both high pressure side and low pressure side. A seal for sealing the high pressure side from the low pressure side is placed on a hole which passed through at least a part of the sensor assembly. An electric lead wire is extended through the seal between the high pressure side and the low pressure side. A base is mounted on the high pressure side. A pressure-sensitive resistor is installed in the base so as to directly be exposed to the pressure medium.
