PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a strainer for papermaking, which deals with by partial exchange of members. SOLUTION: The strainer 4 for papermaking is the strainer 4 for papermaking, which removes foreign matters from a papermaking raw material and comprises a strainer member 41 having a plurality of first penetrating opening parts 41a and a strainer supporting member 42 that has a plurality of second opening parts 42a and is brought into contact with the strainer member 41 and supports the strainer member 41 and a fixation means for fixing the strainer member 41 on the strainer supporting member 42. The first opening parts 41a are made to communicate with the second opening parts 42a and the strainer member 41 is positioned at the inflow side of the papermaking raw material.
