PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hydrogen-producing apparatus which reduces a required amount of an electric power and does not cause the leak of hydrogen. SOLUTION: This hydrogen-producing apparatus comprises an electrolytic solution storage tank 7 for storing an electrolytic solution; a pressure pump 11 for pressurizing and supplying the electrolytic solution to an electrolytic tank 1; the electrolytic tank 1 for electrolyzing the electrolytic solution with a DC power sent from a rectifier 8; and a hydrogen storage tank 6 for storing hydrogen generated by the electrolysis in a pressurized state.
