PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a portable water purifying apparatus which does not require a great deal of labor for raw water suction and is capable of easily performing forcible suction of raw water with an automatic or manual operation and efficiently purifying the raw water. SOLUTION: This portable water purifying apparatus comprises a water suction element 2 which has a suction port 20a and forcibly sucks water, a filter 3 which filters the sucked water and a water storage container 4 which stores the filtered sucked water.
