PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a versatile vegetable transplanter coping with the transplantation of various crops by increasing the setting width of the planting space of seedlings and to perform the operation of a stock-space speed change lever to change the planting space. SOLUTION: This vegetable transplanter 101 takes a seedling from a seedling supplying part, transfers it to a transplanting part and plants the seedling on a field. The transplanter is provided with a belt-type stepless speed changer 352 for the control of the planting space and a stepped stock-space speed changing mechanism in a transmission case 104. A protrusion is formed on the stock-space speed change lever interlocked with the stock-space changing mechanism, a lever guide 461a is placed parallel to the stock-space speed change lever 450 and the protrusion 453 is guided with the lever guide 461a.
