SYSTEM FOR SOIL STERILIZATION WITH STEAM

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a system for sterilizing soil with steam that can perform the automatic operations for switching steam-feeding pipes to the others for sterilizing the soil to be disinfected and for stopping the boiler after the sterilization. SOLUTION: The sterilization valves are opened or closed on the basis of the measurement signal from the soil temperature sensor. When the temperature of the soil on the sterilization step is raised up to a set value, the sterilization valves for the next soil to be sterilized are opened, while the advancing opened valves are closed. When the sterilization temperature of all soil lots is raised to a set one, the operation of the boiler is automatically stopped. COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI
