PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a mobile terminal which improves a technique for prohibiting or restricting a communication function. SOLUTION: The mobile communication terminal is provided with a broadcast receiving section or a second communication section for receiving contents distributed by a broadcast or a second communication method. When specific contents are available in the mobile communication terminal, a control section controls the mobile communication terminal to stop the operation a network communication section. Thus, new service contents can be provided via a cellular phone in return for the prohibition or restriction of the communication function, thereby effectively and positively urging the prohibition or restriction of the communication function to a user.
